Imagine if you could watch each wrestler go on their Individual journeys to build strength, skills, and apply new techniques directly to their Game.

(That is the question I am setting out to answer.)

  • We are going to train a spectrum of martial arts with a selected group of athletes and experts locally, with the goal of building a spectacle to ultimately entertain an audience. 
  • The action is going to take place inside of a ring, where you can use the ropes.

Mitigating Risk Through Smart Training and Study

Judo

Judo will be the foundation of the spectacle - where it utilizes big, spectacular throws, explosive action, and has resets; the ground action has to be aggressive and progressing or it gets reset (stood up). 

Sumo

Sumo will be used to train pushing / pulling techniques, how to direct force, and how to use strength and size as a weapon to control the action.

Striking

Striking will be neck down, it will utilize dirty boxing/clinching, and be used to create action as well as to set up big throws.

Submissions

Submissions will be one of the ways to finish matches, along with pins. We will use Brazilian jiu jitsu as the way to study and train this action.

Pro Wrestling

The action will be trained like a Pro Wrestling class where single moves and ideas can be stitched into a persons game so that they can individualize their style.

Movement

The functional movements that are used in the Game will be studied and trained for both efficiency and also to minimize risks. Running, lifting, jumping, basing out, and break falls will all be studied and be trained.
